Help SIR lead the category in offering users a premium digital experience.

 
 

Sotheby’s International Real Estate came to us to redesign their .com experience to expand the appeal of Sotheby’s Real Estate to a new generation. As we defined the vision, we created five design imperatives that helped guide our path forward: To make local the priority, elevate the agent status as well as showcase craft, serve the buyer’s browsing need and improve the seller experience.

Design imperatives were set during the vision phase to ensure that the experience solves both know user needs and business goals for SIR.

1. Celebrate the details: SIR’s clients obsess over the details, searching and waiting for specific aesthetics that will turn their property into a home or listing into a reveal.

2. Embrace the world: Most of our visitors are international. Our design must bring forward the unique traits of home communities throughout the world.

3. Respect the luxury of time: Choosing SIR represents an appreciation to savor impeccably made craftsmanship while letting technology and design do the work.

4. Agents armed with data: Go beyond the typical agent profile by using data to demonstrate authenticity and transparency.


 
 
 

The work

 

Foster an extraordinary ecosystem: What users want to do is simple: Find their dream home and get the right help to get it. But every other real estate site does this. So how can they go above and beyond? With the new homepage design we introduced personalization and localization to provide digital concierge in the digital space.

 
 
 

Elevate the agent: The old site was not up to the standards of many local agents who felt forced to created microsites that steered users away from the master brand. We solved this by building a more stable and localized search, clear co-branding and an improved design worthy of all agents and offices.

 
 
 

Celebrate the details: The current site was lacking detail and not showcasing the value of the homes.  For our new listing page design, we were inspired by the luxury real estate magazine. We emultated this look by bringing their high end assets to the forefront in an more editorial look and feel.

A live chat tool within the SIR ecosystem could allow buyers to share the users inspiration with their agents on the go. We leverage a proprietary smart images search" functionaly already owned by SIR to be able to quickly scan and search images send by buyers to make the agents look like magicians.
